Thoughts of Obama From Bama
Week 131: “Natural Born Liar”
Well, we split the road at Norwood, and he just shook my hand.
He said, "I'll see you some place, friend," but you know he never has.
But we were that free then, just walking down the road,
Never really caring where that highway goes.
Yeah, Stoney was a liar (a bullshitter!) ain't no doubt about it.
It was just the way he told things, and you never want to doubt him.
'Cause he kept you going when the road got rough,
And brought you through the lean times by making it up
“Stoney”, Jerry Jeff Walker
Ain’t no never mind about it as sad as it is to say the President of the United States of America continues to make comments that strongly suggest the man is a bona fide “Natural Born Liar”. The words truthful, honesty, integrity and trustworthy sure enough just don’t often collide in the same sentence with the name Barack Husain Obama.
Standing right on up there behind the Presidential Podium just as if he has good sense at another White House made for TV address Monday night Mr. Obama whined, threw a hissy fit, and lied like a cheap rug to “We the People” about the Country’s current debt/financial crisis. True to form our inept, incompetent and devious “He That Hasn’t Got a Clue-in-Chief” played the race, class, generational warfare and victim card early and often during his brief fear mongering diatribe Monday evening.
Employing another tried and true diversion tactic the President blamed everyone from W, the Tea Party, corporate jet owners, Fox News and global climate change for our pending fiscal train wreck. To hear the man talk he’s just an innocent bystander victimized by W’s big oil and war mongering policies.
Our left wing extremist main stream press along with the President and his Democrat comrades seem to be inflicted with a bad case of selective memory and the lock jaw when it comes to this gang’s Trillion dollar plus deficits and 4 trillion added to the debt in only 2 and half years in office. Monday night’s BS session sure as hell weren’t no exception.
Independent political watchdog group, “Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire”, rated the President’s Monday evening Debt speech on a scale of 1 – “typical misleading but open to debate statement” to 5- “unabashed, shameless, deceitful, nefarious, insidious lies”. As usual Mr. Obama scored 5’s across the boards.
Following are some of his most egregious lies:
• For the last decade, we have spent more money than we take in. In the year 2000, the government had a budget surplus. But instead of using it to pay off our debt, the money was spent on trillions of dollars in new tax cuts, while two wars and an expensive prescription drug program were simply added to our nation’s credit card.
• Only in DC are tax cuts, the folks keeping more of their money, considered as expenditures. It is also curious that every time liberals whine about the expense of two wars they fail to mention a small detail that called us to arms in the first place – 9/11
• As a result, the deficit was on track to top $1 trillion the year I took office. To make matters worse, the recession meant that there was less money coming in, and it required us to spend even more – on tax cuts for middle-class families; on unemployment insurance; on aid to states so we could prevent more teachers and firefighters and police officers from being laid off. These emergency steps also added to the deficit.
• To make matters worse, the recession meant that there was less money coming in, and it required us to spend even more. That’s worth repeating- To make matters worse, the recession meant that there was less money coming in, and it required us to spend even more. Only a boneheaded Community Organizing Marxist/Socialist would advocate such an absolutely asinine fiscal policy
• The only reason this balanced approach isn’t on its way to becoming law right now is because a significant number of Republicans in Congress are insisting on a cuts-only approach – an approach that doesn’t ask the wealthiest Americans or biggest corporations to contribute anything at all. And because nothing is asked of those at the top of the income scales, such an approach would close the deficit only with more severe cuts to programs we all care about – cuts that place a greater burden on working families.
• The President’s idea of a balanced approach is to soak the rich and appease the victim class. He says they don’t contribute anything at all and truth be told the top 2% of wage earners already pay 75% of the tab.
• Understand – raising the debt ceiling does not allow Congress to spend more money. It simply gives our country the ability to pay the bills that Congress has already racked up. In the past, raising the debt ceiling was routine. Since the 1950s, Congress has always passed it, and every President has signed it. President Reagan did it 18 times. George W. Bush did it 7 times. And we have to do it by next Tuesday, August 2nd, or else we won’t be able to pay all of our bills.
• Bills Congress has already racked up our over taxed ass. Does the Stimulus, Auto bail out or Obamacare ring a bell Clyde?
• The American people may have voted for divided government, but they didn’t vote for a dysfunctional government. So I’m asking you all to make your voice heard. If you want a balanced approach to reducing the deficit, let your Member of Congress know. If you believe we can solve this problem through compromise, send that message.
• The American people voted for divided government for one indisputable reason – to put an end to the Obama Administration’s insane, irresponsible, criminal, Socialist spending spree.
• Thank you, God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America
• Allah the great, Allah the benevolent, unite the collective masses as one Citizen of the World
President Obama’s address to the nation Monday night was chock full of enough lies to choke two mules and a full grown bull elephant. Another masterful performance worthy of any “Natural Born Liar“.
