Thoughts of Obama From Bama

Week 107: Obama’s New Covenant With US Business – Real Collaboration or the Continuation of His Socialist Revolution?

It ain't nobody 's business kid
Who in the world I do business with
Ain't nobody's business but mine
Ain't nobody's business sonny
Where in the world I spend my money
Ain't nobody's business but mine

Champagne don't drive me crazy
Cocaine don't make me lazy
Ain't nobody's business but mine
Said, way down in Costa Rica
Smoke my hash and drink my liquor
Ain't nobody's business but mine
“Champagne Don’t Drive Me Crazy” Jerry Jeff Walker

Barack “Sam Walton, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, T Boone Pickens, the Donald, Jack Welch, Steve Forbes” Obama is standing tall and speaking up just like he had good sense bout his great support, respect, admiration and gratitude towards the U.S. private sector business community. He sure enough sounds like an open market loving; free trader; deregulator; small government advocating capitalist.

To hear his supporters, White House political hacks, left wing media elite types and even some severely confused moderate/conservative commentators and journalist President Obama is the best friend business has had in the Oval Office in years. They point to his new business oriented Chief of Staff, senior political hack Bill Daley, the compromise with the GOP on extending W’s tax rates and his new Jobs Creation Committee that’s chock full of corporate big wigs as examples of Mr. Obama’s pragmatic move towards the political center.

We certainly don’t wish to be the fly in the ointment; bearer of bad news; water on the fire; messenger of ill tidings; hitch in the ole get along; the proverbial terd in the punch bowl but all this noise about moderation, pragmatism and moving to the center ain’t nothing but a bunch of malarkey. In our humble opinion anyone buying this load of manure is not only one can short of a six pack they are also crazier than a run over dog and an entire family of outhouse rats.

Examples of our MBA-in-Chief’s continued Socialist Revolution are more abundant than white on rice. A few examples include the following:

• Obamacare – the ultimate objective being a total government takeover of the healthcare industry and a massive redistribution of wealth
• His plans to bail out States buried in debt with another massive redistribution of wealth greatly favoring labor and public sector unions
• Literally thousands of new regulations currently being written designed to take control of the financial industry. So intrusive and oppressive they could easily be mistaken for Soviet, Cuban and/or Chinese policies.
• Doing an end around the legislature and directing the EPA to establish intrusive emissions regulations dramatically increasing current energy cost in an effort to advance his green agenda
• Restricting domestic oil exploration and drilling putting hundreds of thousands out of work to advance his radical green agenda
• Friday night public readings of the Communist Manifesto in the East Room at the White House
• Come as Your Favorite Nekkid Marxist/Socialist Dictator Parties at the VP’s place once a quarter following Friday night’s public reading.

Despite his radical left wing agenda the President and his dominions point to the State of the Union speech and his address to the US Chamber of Commerce this week as indicators of his newly found appreciation for private sector commerce. His proposals to freeze spending at current levels, targeted tax credits and offer to tweak Obamacare are all being cited as examples of the Administration’s pro business agenda.

True to form these and other alleged Obama pro business initiatives are nothing more than empty rhetoric, smoke and mirrors and political diversions. Considering government spending has increased by over 80% since Mr. Obama slithered into office a freeze at current levels is just another arrogant and elitist scheme inflicted on all of us poor dumb pilgrims by the Yes We Can Steal You Blind With Impunity Gang.

A review of the President’s Chamber of Commerce speech reveals more big intrusive government, irresponsible spending of other people’s money, and another step or two towards Comrade Obama’s vision of a shinning Utopian Commune on a emerald green hillside in the land of the free and home of the brave. Following are a few thinly veiled examples of ideas and initiatives advocating his Bolshevik agenda from his Chamber address:

• OBAMA: Thank you, Tom, for your introduction. It's good to be here today at the Chamber of Commerce. I'm here in the interest of being more neighborly. Maybe we would have gotten off on a better foot if I had brought over a fruitcake when we first moved in.
THOUGHTS OF OBAMA FROM BAMA: We seriously doubt sending VP Biden and/or AG Holder over would have improved relations.
• OBAMA: These forces are as unstoppable as they are powerful. But combined with a brutal and devastating recession, they have also shaken the faith of the American people - in the institutions of business and government. They see a widening chasm of wealth and opportunity in this country, and they wonder if the American Dream is slipping away.

THOUGHTS OF OBAMA FROM BAMA: A frequent Obama tactic the advancement of unjustified class warfare claims
• OBAMA: But I want to be clear: even as we make America the best place on earth to do business, businesses also have a responsibility to America. Now, I understand the challenges you face. I understand that you're under incredible pressure to cut costs and keep your margins up. I understand the significance of your obligations to your shareholders. I get it. But as we work with you to make America a better place to do business, ask yourselves what you can do for America. Ask yourselves what you can do to hire American workers, to support the American economy, and to invest in this nation. That's what I want to talk about today - the responsibilities we all have to secure the future we all share.

THOUGHTS OF OBAMA FROM BAMA: How does a man who has never held a leadership position in the private sector “get it”? Simple answer – he’s absolutely clueless
• OBAMA: And that's why we're making investments today in the next generation of big ideas - in biotechnology, information technology, and clean energy technology….. We also have a responsibility as a nation to provide our people and our businesses with the fastest, most reliable way to move goods and information. The costs to business from the outdated and inadequate infrastructure we currently have are enormous. That's why I want to put more people to work rebuilding crumbling roads and bridges. And that's why I've proposed connecting 80 percent of the country to high-speed rail, and making it possible for companies to put high-speed internet coverage in reach of virtually all Americans.

THOUGHTS OF OBAMA FROM BAMA: The government selecting winners and losers in the private sector through a process of intrusive social engineering is a sure fire recipe for disaster
• OBAMA: To make room for these investments in education, innovation, and infrastructure, government also has a responsibility to cut the spending that we just can't afford. That's why I've promised to veto any bill larded up with earmarks. And that's why I've proposed that we freeze annual domestic spending for the next five years, which would reduce the deficit by more than $400 billion over the next decade, and bring this spending down to the lowest share of our economy since Eisenhower was president. And I am eager to work with both parties to take additional steps across the budget to put our nation on sounder fiscal footing.

THOUGHTS OF OBAMA FROM BAMA: Investment is Obama’s latest euphuism for reckless deficit busting spending of other people’s money. As previously discussed the proposed spending freeze is an intentialy misleading shell game. $400 billion in bogus savings that if actually ever realized wouldn’t even put a dent in Obama’s trillion dollar annual deficits projected for as far out as the eye can see
• OBAMA: The last barriers we're trying to remove are outdated and unnecessary regulations. I've ordered a government-wide review, and if there are rules on the books that are needlessly stifling job creation and economic growth, we will fix them.

THOUGHTS OF OBAMA FROM BAMA: Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. The Obama Administration taking credit for pro business regulatory reform is akin to the President’s good friends the racist Rev. Wright claiming he just loves and adores white folk and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers denouncing violence as a legitimate form of political activism
• OBAMA: But ultimately, winning the future is not just about what the government can do to help you succeed. It's about what you can do to help America succeed…. Of course, your responsibility goes beyond recognizing the need for certain standards and safeguards. If we're fighting to reform the tax code and increase exports to help you compete, the benefits can't just translate into greater profits and bonuses for those at the top. They should be shared by American workers, who need to know that expanding trade and opening markets will lift their standard of living as well as your bottom line. We cannot go back to the kind of economy - and culture - we saw in the years leading up to the recession, where growth and gains in productivity just didn't translate into rising incomes and opportunity for the middle class.

THOUGHTS OF OBAMA FROM BAMA: Has this bonehead ever had an original thought. Obviously a blatant case of plagiarism stealing JFK’s famous quote without giving credit or being called on it by the main stream media elite. And by the way the government exists to serve the citizens including the private sector business community. Emphasizing worker/labor rights and unfairly blaming predecessors (W) for imaginary transgressions are tactics right out of the Karl Marx playbook.

After all the acrimony; accusations; name calling; insults; mistrust; and venomous rhetoric our “Chairman of the Board-in-Chief“ has heaped upon U.S. private sector businesses do recent White House claims of a mutually beneficial newly forged collaboration hold water? No sir, no way, no how.

Just wait for the next “crisis” that needs exploitation and the President will be blaming those greedy SOB’s on Wall Street in a New York minute.

I am, “American by Birth and Southern by the Grace of God”
