Week Thirteen – Is There a Method Behind All This Madness?

President Barack Hussein Obama and his “Yes We Can Secretly and Successfully Transform This Country Into a Socialist Utopia” crowd have truly been busier than the proverbial one legged man at an ass kicking contest during Week Thirteen of the “Change You Can Believe In Especially if You Are a Communist; Facist; Elitist; Historical Revisionist; NBC/MSNBC/CNBC On Air Personality; Dixie Chick (Who?); Liberal Hollywood Head Case; and/or ACCORN Community Activist;” administration. Week thirteen was truly remarkable as the President reached new heights and plunged to unprecedented lows, depending on one’s point of view.

Politically the President remained in full throttle campaign mode eat up with a bad case of W schezophrenia while adding more radical leftist to his team and demonstrating a level of hubris towards conservative leaning Americans usually reserved for a Nancy Pelosi “bipartisan” prayer breakfast.

On the economic front efforts continue in earnest to divert our attention while the groundwork is laid for the socialist/nationalist takeover of our economy. As for our Foreign Policy initiatives, the President’s personal popularity continues to grow in leaps and bounds while our actual security and prestige in the world are severely compromised. And speaking of security, those charged with protecting the borders and homeland may have metaphorically crossed the border of sanity and reason with a seemingly outside chance of making their way back to reality anytime soon.

Week 13’s political bombshell, the release of W’s CIA’s enhanced Interrogation documentation and the President’s reversal regarding prosecuting former Bush administration staffers in an effort to embarass his predecessor, is a dangerous and grossly irresponsible action that unnecessarily places our country deeper in harms way. Calling this a dark chapter in our nation’s history the President conveniently forgets to mention that W’s tactics worked, the homeland has avoided a direct attack since 9/11 and that his democrat comrades in Congress on the Intelligence Committee were fully briefed on the subject and made no formal objections. If this group spent as much time attacking al Qaeda and bin Laden as they do W the war in Afghanistan would be won and OBL would be sharing a jail cell with Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Charlie Rangel and half of the President’s tax cheating cabinet.

Also on the political front was the appointment of Georgetown law professor Rosa Brooks as an adviser to Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Michelle Fluornoy A former Special Counsel for George Soros's Open Society Institute in New York, she was also an advisor to Harold Koh, the hugely controversial nominee for Legal Adviser to the State Department. Brooks has publicly described W as our “Torturer in Chief” and compared his justification for the Iraq war to Hitler’s use of political propaganda.

Speaking of Harold Koh, as the chief legal adviser to American diplomats in the State Department, he would give powerful influence to foreign legal opinions, perhaps limiting American options in matters of national security. His support of various systems of international adjudication, including Islamic Shariah law, in his own opinion would limit our nation’s own sovereignty. Maybe the President figures he will fair better under Shariah law after we all wise up and finally get around to impeaching him for aiding and abetting the enemy for high crimes and misdemeanors like releasing classified CIA documents describing our country’s Top – Secret anti-terrorist interrogation techniques.

The President’s claim to having no knowledge of a quarter of a million of his fellow citizens protesting his policies at 100’s of Tea Parties held on Tax day from New York to California was an interesting political development. His surrogates accusing these patriots of being whining, racist, cry babies would have made a great story if anybody in the leftwing media elite would have bothered to investigate the truly grass root origins of this movement instead of making snide remarks and crude gay related jokes describing the whole affair.

The President presented another major diversion to his sky is falling, crisis driven fiscal policy, boldly challenging his cabinet to collectively find and cut $100 million dollars from his $4 trillion dollar budget. Relatively speaking, that is equivalent to a family of four with an income of $100 thousand dollars cutting less than a penny from their annual budget. Sure hope all those tax cheat financial wizards don’t have to sacrifice too much when making such deep cuts to their multi – billion dollar personal check books, I mean, agency operating budgets.

Our Commander in Chef also proudly adorned his “Pucker Up, Buttercup” lapel button again and played grab butt with his good friends and comrades, the pride of socialist/communist Nicaragua and Venezuela, Danny Ortega and Hue Chavez, at the Trinidad Conference last week. Mr. Obama’s blame America first, apologies, glad handing, sharing books with his socialist pals and words of appeasement were so well received his popularity soared among the delegates and he was elected Ms. Congeniality by all his fellow heads of state. A feat not accomplished by an American President since Jimmy “Peanut” Carter’s eked out a thin margin of victory over Fidel Castro back in 1978 at the same conference. Again, no pledges for additional troops in Afghanistan or real financial assistant to help the worldwide recession from our allies and friends but the President did score a lot of points for being just one hell of a nice guy.

The truly most bizarre event of the week was the proclamation from our Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, warning us about the propensity of Iraq vets towards domestic terrorism. Can you imagine the absolute media hysteria if W’s administration had made a similar claim? Let alone the reaction from dems in Congress, cries for impeachment and his head on a platter would have rained down from Capitol Hill. Considering several of Madame Secretary Napolitano previous comments including her reference to a terrorist attack on US soil as a manmade disaster and illegal aliens crossing our borders not being guilty of committing a crime she is certainly worthy of our full and undivided attention.

Is there a method behind all this madness? Damn straight there is, the diversion of an exaggerated financial crisis of alleged Great Depression proportions while a covert Marxist/Socialist takeover of our free market open society is perpetrated on we the people. But, if history is truly a credible predictor of future events and Dr. Einstein’s definition of insanity holds water, most of these boneheaded ideas and initiatives don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of succeeding in the land of the free and home, of the, brave….Roll Tide!!!
