According to John Edwards there are two Americas. The former Democrat Presidential and Veep candidate; recipient of the $1,000 haircut; the serial cheater Tiger wanna be who stepped out on his terminally ill wife; a man who had an affair with a no count white trash harlot; who fathered a baby with said harlot who just posed in her under drawers with said baby in a GQ expose; who repeated this two Americas theory ad nauseam during the 2008 campaign.

Edwards, the epitome of a bottom dwelling plaintiff’s attorney (ambulance chaser) championed the notion America consist of two kinds of folks – the haves and have not’s or the rich vs. the poor. Thoughts of Obama from Bama happens to agree that there are two Americas but we part ways with scumbag Edwards about exactly who makes up each group.

On the left hand, led by our Marxist/Socialist-in-Chief Barack Husain Obama, we have one America – the pointy headed secular progressives; liberal; leftwing radicals; elitist; big government; high tax; over regulating; advocates of a communal utopian society who all have one overriding trait in common. At some point in time in their life, somebody snuck up behind each and everyone one them, stuck a straw in their ear, and sucked out half their brain.

Looking at the “Polar Opposite” end of the spectrum is the other group of Americans made up of hard working, freedom loving, independent, entrepreneurial, mostly God fearing folk who basically do all the heavy lifting in this country. For purposes of this Column we will refer to the former as “Victims” and the latter “Patriots”.

These two extremely distinctive Americas have perspective’s and viewpoint’s that truly appear to originate from sources so diametrically opposed they are not only “Polar Opposites” they seemingly speak a different language and have totally different value and belief systems. Following is a representative list of examples of the stark differences in the way of reckoning advocated by these two Americas:

Democray:

Victims – Too much control in the hands of the folks and far too little with the Government.

Patriots – An ideal and governance structure worth dying and fighting for.

Freedom:

Victims – An ideal that needs suppression and government control.

Patriots – A gift from God all people have a natural right too.

Liberty:

Victims – An ideal that needs suppression and government control.

Patriots – A gift from God all people have a natural right too.

-

Socialism:

Victims – A step in the right direction.

Patriots – A vile, upside down political philosophy and governance structure.

Communism:

Victims – The mother load of governance structures, heaven on earth, Utopia

Patriots – A despicable, oppressive, failed political philosophy that needs to be nuked and put out of its misery·

Foreign Policy:

Victims- Blame America first, appeasement, pacifist, bend over and grab your ankles, thank you sir may I have another, pucker up butter cup diplomacy.

Patriots – Walk softly, carry a big stick and womp the hell out of anyone who we don’t see eye to eye with.

War on Terror:

Victims- Overseas Contingency Operation and Man Made Disaster.

Patriots – A good time for kicking some serious Islamic Jihadist ass.

Taxes:

Victims – Free ride and a paycheck.

Patriots – Legalized extortion and theft.

Government:

Victims – Sugar Daddy

Patriots – A bottomless money pit corrupted by power, other people’s money and elitist illusions of grandeur.

In addition to the “sneak-straw-ear-suck-half brain” idea another possibility that might also explain the “Polar Opposite” and Two Americas phenomena is the “Men Are From Mars and Woman Are From Venus” theory. A concept that suggest the Victims and Patriots are literally different species from separate planets.

On July 8, 1947, a little over 60 years ago, witnesses claim that an unidentified flying object (UFO) with five aliens aboard crashed onto a sheep and mule ranch just outside Roswell , New Mexico.
