Week 76: Elections Really Do Have Consequences

Into the courtroom my trial began
Where I was handled by twelve honest men

Under the leadership of the most devout and committed Socialist to ever occupy the Oval Office far surpassing the Marxist/Socialist New Dealer hiself, FDR; TR, Teddy Roosevelt, Mr. Trust Busting, Oppressive Government, Anti-Corporate Windbag extraordinaire; Citizen of The World and Founder of The League of Nations and UN Woodrow Wilson; All The Way With LBJ and His Great New Society; Jimmy Peanut, Malaise, Federalize Public Education, Carter; and Bill and Hillary It Takes A Village Clinton in the words of another “Outlaw Country” icon Merle Haggard our great nation truly is “Rolling Down Hill Like a Snowball Headed for Hell”.

During Week 76 of the international joke and domestic train wreck otherwise known as the Obama Administration all manner of calamity has confronted our young, woefully unprepared, and wet behind those humongous ears Doesn’t Have a Clue-in-Chief.

An oil spill and environmental disaster of unprecedented proportions in the Gulf; the economy teetering on the brink; record high unemployment; out of control illegal immigration including a ludicrous lawsuit against the state of Arizona; diminished standing in the world; and job approval poll numbers sinking like a led balloon have all shined a spot light on the abject incompetence of this gang of yahoos and political hacks currently running the White House.

Meanwhile, as all of this unadulterated mayhem sucks up all the oxygen in the room and attention of the mainstream media elite pinheaded press corps, a little and somewhat under the radar hearing has been taking place in the Senate to consider President Obama’s most recent radical leftwing nomination for a seat on the US Supreme Court. In the grand scheme of things possibly one of the most negative consequences of the 2008 election of Barack Husain Obama.

Elena Kagan, another radical liberal head case Yankee lawyer, has been nominated by our alleged Constitutional Scholar-in-Chief to fill the seat of retiring progressive bleeding heart leftwing bonehead Justice John Paul Stephens. Hopefully the appointment of Ms. Kagan will result in nothing more than replacing one Constitution ignoring judicial activist with another.

Problem is we just don’t know exactly how far left Ms. Kagan’s judicial philosophy has wandered. What little we do know from her bio, liberal biased press reports and the Senate Hearing leaves us about as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

Following is a brief summary of our impression of the person who seems almost assured of becoming the fourth woman to serve on our Nation’s highest court:

• Ms. Kagan seems to be a bright, articulate, and well informed individual who also has a great sense of humor. If it wasn’t for her extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint she might make one hell of a good justice.
• The daughter of a Yankee lawyer and school teacher she was born and raised in New York City’s bastion of liberalism the upper West Side. Chances are she never crossed paths with a moderate let alone an individual of conservative leanings until going off to college. Bless her heart, she really never had a fighting chance to grow up with anything but an extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• She attended Princeton under grad and Harvard Law. Prime breeding ground for elitist Yankee lawyers. Institutes of higher education that definitely inspire an extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• While attending Princeton and Harvard she did several summer political internships in Marxist/Socialist strongholds including Moscow, Beijing, Paris, and Havana. All experiences that helped build the foundation for her extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• She wrote a Senior thesis at Princeton about the history of Socialism in New York City. This Administration’s public and unabashed embrace of Socialist and Socialism is truly disturbing. Another strong indication of her developing extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• After graduating from Harvard Law clerked for liberal leftist icon Supreme Court JusticeThurgood Marshall. One of her political and judicial heroes Marshall served as a mentor encouraging her extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• Demonstrating extremely poor judgment, not exactly a characteristic we look for in a Supreme Court Justice nominee, Ms. Kagan worked for the Michael Dukakis Presidential campaign. A candidate that was subjected to one of the most severe ass whoopins in the history of US Presidential elections. Undeterred by the embarrassing defeat she considered the whole experience as an opportunity to fine tune her extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• Following the Dukakis debacle, Ms Kagan spent a few short years actually practicing law in the private sector before returning to academia teaching law at the University of Chicago. Another liberal stronghold where she was free to advance her extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• After achieving tenure in Chicago our future Jurist again displayed really poor judgment by joining the “It Takes a Village of Knee Pad Adorning Interns” Clinton Administration. The ideal environment for her to actually put into practice her extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• Her next gig was an eight year stint at Harvard Law, three serving on the faculty and five as Dean. Finally in a leadership position she was free to aggressively advocate and implement her extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• Ms Kagan is currently serving as the President’s Solicitor General representing the US Government at the Supreme Court. As our Country’s lead advocate she’s been forced to hush up for once in her life and restrain from expressing her extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.

Her position on issues and cases she likely will be adjudicating if seated on the Court are as disturbing and disconcerting as her lack of experience and qualifications to serve as a Supreme Court Justice. Several of her radical boneheaded ideas are highlighted below:

• In 2006 Ms Kagan declared that Israeli Judge Aahron Barak, (along with Fidel Castro, Karl Marx, Mau, Joseph Stalin and Hugo Chavez) was her “judicial hero.” “He is the judge who has best advanced democracy, human rights, the rule of law, and justice,” Yet Barak’s record is one of hyper judicial activism that most Americans would find unacceptable. Examples of his far flung over reaching include making judgments about the deployment of troops in wartime; countermanding military orders; deciding whether to release terrorists within the framework of a political package deal; and directing the government as to where it can put up a security fence to keep suicide bombers from entering Israel from the West Bank. This man is a judicial activists’ wet dream.
• During her confirmation hearing Ms. Kagan stated openly and without shame “My politics would be, have to be, separate from my judging.” This disingenuous proclamation has about as much credibility as an Obama campaign promise or Clinton Grand Jury testimony.
• Ain’t no never mind about it she’s a big thumbs up for Obamacare Socialized Medicine, same sex marriage, abortion on demand and every other ultra left wing ACLU sponsored piece of litigation. Thumbs down for religious freedom, gun ownership, and the military’s right to recruit on campus the Constitution be damned with all decisions based on her extreme leftist, Socialist, bleeding heart, boneheaded, elitist, ultra-liberal judicial and political viewpoint.
• Finally, rumor has it Ms Kagan will be the first lesbian to serve on the Supreme Court not that this revelation should in any way adversely affect her nomination. Neither she or the White House will confirm or deny but considering her hair cut; wardrobe; mannerisms; prowess on the softball diamond; and the fact that she vacations several times a year in San Francisco and Key West with Rosie and Ellen if she ain’t a lesbian she’s missing a great opportunity.

One of the most tragic consequences of the last Presidential Election is the Constitutional authority granted to Barack Husain Obama to appoint Supreme Court Justices whose decisions will adversely impact our freedom, liberties and pursuit of happiness for decades to come.

Hopefully a consequence of Mr. Obama’s appointments will be a good old fashion whippen in the 2012 election that will make Dukakis’ record breaking defeat back in 1988 look like a real barn burner.
